• Collaborate with the art director and other art leads to help define the look of all aspects of the game. Working on everything from broad stroke mood pieces to more specific individual designs and key art pieces.

• The candidate should be capable of creating quick exploratory sketches and mood pieces to capture early concepts. They should also be confident to develop and complete final high-quality pieces.

• An ability to draw and render characters, environments, and machinery, and bring a novel and unique presentation to those designs.

• The candidate should be very open to feedback and keen to seek out feedback when needed, open to change, and keen to iterate on work.

Essential Requirements:

• Shipped at least one game title or other relevant industry experience.

• Should have a portfolio of work demonstrating a solid grasp of human and animal anatomy as well as industrial design, architecture.

• Should have a collection of work that shows a strong understanding of traditional art fundamentals.

• Solid knowledge of Photoshop, Painter, or other equivalent software, and a keenness to learn more.

• Ability to work collaboratively. The ideal candidate must be open to direction and able to embrace change.

• Fluent English.


• A thorough understanding of film and visual storytelling.

• An interest and a vocabulary in visual art that extends beyond video games and into contemporary art, design, and fashion.

• Experience and knowledge of other traditional arts such as painting, sculpting, figure drawing, and illustration.

• An interest and knowledge of other aspects of video game development.
